MAYOR THOMAS 2ND ANNUAL Toy Christmas Give-Away SUNDAY DECEMBER 20, 2020. PENNS GROVE NJ , drive-thru toy give-away was magical. I say magical because that is what it felt like to the little girl in me. It was an awesome experience to see so many kids smiling at one time. We had close to 3000 toys, the kids got to ride in Santa's sleigh, take pictures with Santa, and ride the horses! None of this could've happened without the volunteers, the organizations, the businesses, and the individual people who donated from near and from afar. I thank you all so much for helping bring joy to our kids. They've been through so much this year. They deserve everything. Thank you to the following: All of the families who came out to enjoy a couple of hours of Christmas cheer with us, my husband Waiverly Thomas for dreaming BIG with me and for always going hard for our community, The Bud Organization, Penns Grove Recreation Department, Council President Carol Mincey, Councilwoman elect Charlyn Martin, Councilman elect Jonathan Carter, PGCP Regional School District, Penns Grove Middle School teachers and staff, PGCPRSEA, PG Police Officers Association, PGPD Department, PG EMS Department, PG Fire Department, May Funeral Home, Society Page en Espanol, Club Oasis, ATEAM, South Jersey Alumnae Chapter (Deltas), House of Wright Funeral Home, Pitman's Consulting, LLC, Spark's Dry Cleaners, Rambos Autowerks, MAPSA, David Rohrbach from Bee Tree Trails- Shartlesville, PA, Ashley Soper and her Pony handlers from Posies Pastures- Bridgeton, NJ, Roman Pantry, Muncheez Madness, Antoinette Ciorciari Alpart from Replay Toys- Warminster, PA, Dr. Joan Feinstein, DJ Trick Dawson for spinning the Christmas Songs, My Super girls- the PGMS #IAM girls (Aaliyah, Gianna, Cassandra, Jaymari, and Kayla) for volunteering, for being the cutest elves ever and for showing off your #GirlPower , Michael Gross who was such an adorable elf, Joyce Robinson, Barbara Johnson, and Denise Stone for being awrsome elves, all of the volunteers, and the rest of the folks (this list could go on for about an hour), who all came together to make this event a success. EGG HARBOR TOWNSHIP POLICE ACTIVITIES LEAGUE SHOP WITH A COP ( 10 ANNIVERASARY) DECEMBER 5, 2020 -Thank you to all our sponsors, volunteers and staff for the success of this year’s EGG HARBOR TOWNSHIP POLICE ACTIVITIES LEAGUE, SHOP WITH A COP. It was very different with COVID-19. We limited the number of police officers, volunteers, and children participants. Gone was breakfast, socialization and the parade. All very difficult to eliminate from the event, but very necessary to keep everyone safe. The event was still a very huge success, with masks, social distancing, and temperatures checks. Lots of happy children , grateful families and incredible police officers and military personnel. Thank you to all!! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!! -Galloway Township Police Department This morning the Galloway Township Police Department participated in the Shop with a Cop event at the Walmart in Hamilton Township. K9 Sergeant First Class Scott Winneberger, Officer Kaitlyn Reyes and Officer Kevin Dever spent the morning shopping with some very special children. They thoroughly searched the toy section of the Walmart for the perfect Christmas gifts for these very deserving kids. Not even the masks could stop the smiles from shining or deafen the sounds of giggles as the kids shopped with a cop. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all!!! -Linwood Police Department Officer Champion & Kaos spent the morning with a young member of our community at the annual Shop With a Cop! We are thankful for the opportunity to participate once again in this experience - it’s always a pleasure to give back to our community. -Egg Harbor Township Police Department On Saturday, December 5th, Detective Cantell, Ofc. PASTOR CHE AHN - LIFE CENTER Ministries, Harrisburg, PA -Pastor Che Ahn from CALIFORNIA was the main speaker at the breakfast. -He is being threatened with jail time in CALIFORNIA for holding church services. CA is a place where church is considered non-essential, but abortion clinics and pot dispensaries are considered essential. -In CA, you can be prosecuted for having a Bible Study or Prayer Group in your house. -This is reminiscent of 1930's Germany only this is America. Who would have thought that the first amendment would be trashed by Democratic Governors?
