Music was heard on the Boardwalk of
American Praygroung, (Atlantic City, NJ) where a small group of Colombians sympathized, people of all nationalities.
Visitors when listening to the music and seeing the joy came to see them, take photos and dance the atmosphere was contagious for all tourists, Latinos and non-Latinos who out of curiosity turned out to be distracted they sat listening to us and talked with everyone as if they knew each other for a long time.
Everyone started the conversation by saying that well, Colombian music on the Boardwalk in Atlantic City, NJ is something different.
On July 22, 2019 of the same year Mayor Frank Gilliam Jr. granted a plaque at the City Hall and named July 20 as "Colombia Day" Recognizing some individuals of Colombian Nationality who are part of Atlantic City for many years , and named Jorge Restrepo as the most important journalist in history. and The Society Page in Spanish (The Social Page) As the Most Important Newspaper / Magazine in the History of Atlantic County, New Jersey.
Congratulations to all Colombians for their independence and we will see 2020 again where we will make history again.
